New LPG connections

A few days ago I have read that Oil companies have written to the Goverment that they want to stop further bookings of new connections of LPGand also want to restrict the supply to the existing consumers,as it is incurring huge loss due to heavy subsidy been given.Paper has also written that Govt. is unlikely to give permission.I want to suggest the way in between. As per hindi proverb SAANP BHI MAR JAYE AUR LATHI BHI NA TOOTE.These are as under:-
1.Let oil companies give new connections on heigher price,Say Rs.500/- as present price is opppx.Rs.320/-
2.Let oil companies restrict the supply to existing and new consumers,BUT
3.After the allotted quota let them supply LPG on actual cost, which arrives after not allowing subsidy.
Is Finance Minister listening?
